Through this great scientific adventure they will: discover the unique environment of the southern polar world, comprehend the crucial work scientists are doing to understand the impact of climate change in the region and they will participate, albeit indirectly, in one of the great scientific missions to the Antarctic continent.

Using our past experience in the Arctic (the five part series on climate change in the Arctic «Mission Arctic»), this Antarctic Mission TV series will present the conditions at the two poles and illustrate the critical roles that each play in determining the planet's climate. This will allow us to demonstrate how climate change will impact humans not only in polar regions but also around the globe.

During the expedition, the public will also be made aware of the importance of the South Pole as an indicator of the state of the planet as a whole.
