After months of careful planning, the multimedia celebration of International Polar Year, called POLES APART, is ready to enter production. We are now looking for additional partners, venue hosts, and sponsors to bring the project to life. POLES APART celebrates the contributions of polar science to the global good. It tells an incredible story that highlights achievements in the International Polar Year 2007-2008 and the social and cultural responses to global change that IPY science is helping to inform.
