In 1934 James Mann Wordie lead a team of researchers to West Greenland and Baffin Island. They returned with objects, photographs and their own impressions of local Inuit communities. This website, created by the University of Cambridge Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in collaboration with the Scott Polar Research Institute, visually represents these objects and the expedition’s encounters and experiences in the Arctic. A comment section is available on most pages for visitors to contribute information relating to the content presented.
