"Ice, Ice, Baby" are hands-on activities designed for K-8 students, developed by CReSIS, the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets. Most of the lessons are easy to prepare and simple to teach. Science principles of properties of ice, displacement, pressure and density are taught through information about the polar glaciers and icebergs. The teacher preparation time is short for most of the lessons, with the exception of Glacier Goo. National Science Standards are included on the website. The assessments have yet to be downloaded on the website, but are coming!
