The Athy Heritage Centre-Museum i Athy, Ireland, has established the Ernest Shackleton Autumn School to celebrate the life and work of the great Antarctic explorer in the area of his birth. This year, from October 24-27, attend lectures, view exhibitions and films, listen to music or join an excursion organized by the museum for the 8th Ernest Shackleton Autumn School.
