Exhibitions

Linda Sim (Australia) and Joakim Hansson (Finland) will be exhibiting their recent collaboration "OBFUSCATED BUOYANCY" at Galleri Ikon, Stockholm from 14 -29 April 2007. The photo-based artworks display anonymous, snow-covered mountain landscapes from the Lofoten Islands, Norway, through which the artists are examining aspects of interpretative perception; considering the influence of an experiences general context and the relation of past/future recollection.
The images contain a diffuse painterly allusion; surpassing conventional illustrative photography with a delicate visual sensitivity.
