This exhibition features current research in the Arctic and Antarctic, focusing on how knowledge is gathered and how research is carried out. Its interactive philosophy of learning-by-doing makes it well suited for a younger audience. The exhibition also shows conditions for the people who work and live in the Arctic region.
The world premier of Cold Poles - Hot Stuff has opened at the
House of Sweden, Washington, USA until the 27th May 2007. It will then be shown at science centres in Sweden during IPY, starting at
Teknikens Hus in Luleå.
The exhibition has been produced by Teknikens Hus, in cooperation with the Swedish Research Council, the Swedish National Committee for the International Polar Year, the Embassy of Sweden and the Norrbotten County Administrative Board.
