This is the 106th Annual Meeting of the AAG, where geographers of all stripes (physical and human) can come to catch up on the latest developments in the discipline.
Events/ sessions of Polar interest include sessions organized by the AAG's Cryosphere group and a session on "Critical Geopolitical Perspectives on the Polar Regions" organized by Klaus Dodds and Phil Steinberg. More will be posted if APECS events are planned in the future for this venue.
Abstracts are due by October 28, 2009.
