A multimedia interactive exhibition and extensive wraparound activities on the relationship between global warming and the poles. The objectives are to alert the public to the importance of the poles in maintaining the ecological balance of the planet; to promote exchange with other IPY projects; to mark the Brazilian presence in polar research; to reach young people through interaction with public and private schools; to establish public-private-NGO partnerships in developing the project; and to associate supporting companies with an event of socio-environmental responsibility and international reach.
