  Searching through the relavant websites of IPY related sites I found little mentioning of the relevance of hydrographic surveying, bathymetry etc. Can you give me some information how this is being covered.
  For your information I am Chief Editor of the magazine Hydro International (www.hydro-international.com) and like to pay attention to the IPY.

  We care about the water creatures in Plar region. We would like to know, what can we do to help those water creatures in Polar region? How can a ROV help the organization to save those creature? How can we promote Polar concern attitudes to school classmates while we are thousand of miles from Polar region?
